    Golf cart build

Got started on this finally. So far I have put new batteries and 2 ga cables, lifted with tires and wheels, bedliner black paint job, and got the rear basket put on. Added a new alltrax 400 amp controller and 200 amp hd solenoid. Controller and solenoid took the speed from 14 mph to 21 mph and has awesome torque. I will add more pictures as I do stuff.

That controller was $375. Just make sure which drive system you have before ordering. In 2001 there was the PDS and the Series drive systems. Totally different systems and no parts are interchangeable. If you need any help just let me know.

What would you say is a reasonable price for a used golf cart like yours?

There are lots of variables on carts. Age, condition, and brand of batteries are a big factor. Also electronics upgrades are pretty costly. Mine will be sold for about $3000 when finished.

You have the F/R handle by your leg and a Run/tow switch under the seat? If so its a DCS. They are awesome carts. More speed than a Series cart and more torque than a PDS. Once you upgrade the controller it will be a beast.
