          Clean it, derust oil the exterior and action, clean and protect the wood. Leave it original and usable. But that depends on you not me or anyone else

            My dad bought one in 1959 from western auto. It ain’t rusted but the stock got busted off of it in the 60’s and he throwed it in the barn. I found it about ten years ago and put a new stock on it. Kilt a bar and a lion with it, dad thinks it’s cool now and talks about it.

            Don’t want to hurt your feelings but it’s a Marlin and not a Winchester so the value of it is not a lot
