When is everyone submitting their gun paperwork to Angadi? I want to turn mine in as early as possible this year - last year we didn't get our permits until the day before the season opened, and didn't have tags for bow season... (We are in Tamps)

Just sent mine to our guy so we can check guns 8/31, checking shotguns going to do a little dove hunting over labor day.. He typically asks for it 2 weeks in advance of checking guns.

I’ve been told that certain guides can get them for you. Otherwise you will need to bring them and check them every time you cross.

Your gun permit allows you to posses 3,000 shells (per our outfitter, seems high # to me). You can only bring 100 across per gun but they will sale you some down there. Our owner will have them delivered for $20 a box. Our outfitter told me $15 a box to buy in Mexico with your permit.

All this is second hand info I was told by who we use as our outfitter

We buy shotgun shells in Piedras Negras. They are not cheap.

Humberto directed us to a store in Piedras Negras and we bought them there. Right next to the Nissan Dealership. 17.50 a box for high brass 12 gauge 7.5 shot.... they also had duck and turkey loads.
