Just got back from ranch. Lots of standing water all the way on 35 to the gate. Pastures look really good. Saw a guy shredding and winced.

Dry in Catarina. Our tanks are in good shape but grass is staring to turn brown. Need a few showers to hold us over until fall.

Me too! It's super dry and I hate that I got missed by this system. It may be a while for the next chance. No beneficial rain since May hurts!

Down at the pasture. Sure could use a little help from Mother Nature to help these guys finish out. Saw some nice horns. Deer are in good shape. Just need a good soaker to kill this heat and green it back up.

It's official, I've had a terrible summer for rainfall.

No measurable rain since mid May has taken its toll on the ranch and I'm sure the deer too. The deer are hammering the protein eating about 5 tons every 8 days

I'm tired of doing my rain dance!

K. Got a general idea. Looks like all the summer rain hit about 8 miles down 133. Brittinghams place and the chaparral look very green. We are dry and some of the tanks are starting to show it. 105 on the truck rear view when I left at 2 today.

I shot him in 03-04 season. It was an average rainfall that year. We tend to have better horn years on average rainfall then really wet years.
