Default Topless Jeep weekend I think they're missing the point

Down in Winnie right now and I'm still a lot of Jeeps almost every one of them still got the tops on.
I guess it's like going to Daytona Bike Week and using a trailer to get your bike there

Yes, that is what the OP is talking about. It is Topless Weekend on bolivar and there are Jeeps running around with their tops on.

Maybe they're protesting the topless ones.

Most will remove the tops, once they get to where they are staying. Riding nekkid isn't a lot of fun if you are traveling 5+ hours to get there.

Might as well put it on a trailer then if'n ya can't handle a little wind. Or go by a newer FJ.

It was a cool event 4 or 5 years ago when it started. It got too big and not near as family friendly as it was.

With the weather forecast this weekend, CJ's, YJ's and dirty legs will be about the only thing topless. Everything after a yj has too many electronics to get wet.

Even calling them a fake jeep is giving them too much credit!
