Default Looking for jarred hot pickles recipe.

When I was a kid we had some guys that would come hunt my family land a couple times a year from helletsville. They would bring us jarred spicy pickles. All I remember is there were pickles, chile piquens, and garlic. If you have the recipe I'd appreciate it

My grandmother recipe

3 parts water
1 part vinegar
1/3 part salt ( I back off a bit on the salt)
Dill
Onions
Garlic
Pepper of your choice

I use Ball brand kosher dill mix and add garlic cloves and red pepper flakes.
