I’ve been in a couple in Phoenix that freaked me out! Being from the wetlands flying sand freaked me out.

I drove from Lubbock to Big Spring in one crazy dust storm about 7-8 years ago. I could only see about 20 yards in front of my truck. It was a bit tense on that drive. I've never seen anything like it. My parents are from Borger and mom says they used to get really bad up there.

I was out in the middle of lake Amistad when it blew in. Rough ride back to the ramp for sure!! Still blowing like crazy!
