    Favorite Book

Looking for some new reading material for the new year. I read both fiction and non fiction. The only thing I don't read is Sci-fi.

So, what is your all-time favorite book?

The last of the breed. Louis Lemour.

Not sure of a favorite all time,

but the one I recommend often and will probably reread soon-

Undaunted Courage: The Pioneering First Mission to Explore America's Wild Frontier

About the Lewis and Clark expedition.

My take away- Very eye opening as to what civilizations existed throughout the US, before the white man ever showed up.

The Bible. Takes a while to read but can change your life! I read it over and over and always learn something new.

It's hard to pick one, but for men of adventure, River of Doubt is a great read. Horse Soliders by Stanton is awesome. Lonesome Dove, No Country for Old Men, All the Pretty Horses; required reads. I love John Krakauer's work. Hemingway, of course, Capstick, man.... so many books, so little time.

Turn the Ship around by David Marquet - good nonfiction about leadership

Team of Teams by General can't remember and too lazy to look up. Good nonfiction about team work.

Both are good books and can apply in everyday life / work.

Other than the Bible, I'd recommend Aztec by Gary Jennings. You'll not be able to put it down.
