Think I made a good trade

Traded my AR in 204 Ruger (about an $800 value) for a unfired Browning A Bolt white gold medallion w/stainless octagon barrel in 7mm mag.
Cant seem to find ANY info on the browning. I guess because it is so rare. They dont even list it as a production model when I look up manufacture date by the serial number. Guess I'll be calling browning next week to get some info

Again, it's around a $1500 gun so yeah you rocked it on the trade.

Nice. I'd hate to take that into the woods.

Lots better looking than the AR for certain.

It's going to be a easy shooter too. I have an A bolt medallion in 7mm mag and it's pretty tame. Yours having a heavier barrel should be even easier. Nice rifle!

You stole that thing! I never come across stuff like this. You will love the rifle. They shoot well. Only issue I can see it's so danged pretty I would always be scared to death of messing it up.

If it’s like my A-Bolt in 7mag you will want to feed it lite bullets. Mine really shines with 140-150 grain, 160 grain and up opens up the groups due to slow twist rate.

I'm hoping that it likes the Hornady Superformance 139gr SST

That octagon barrel is plumb sexy ! I've never seen one on a bolt gun.
