Default Thank you all....

I want to extend the thank you's to all for yesterday. There were so many changes...starting with the new location. Thanks to The Brazos Center for allowing us to proceed with this annual event. I had a lot of comments about liking the park. There was no kid's playground...but I saw the kids in the grassy area paying with each other and having a lot of fun. Only other downside I think was the small restroom. Lesson learned...we will make additional arrangements to handle that next year.

The one thing that seemed to work out perfectly was the area for Team Crawfish. Seeing as how the protection of that team is why we moved....it was a relief to hear it was an even better spot for them to work.

Thanks to all the teams for kicking butt! Man...you all did an awesome job pulling this together and making it happen. Everything I ate was incredibly good!

Thanks to our travelling MVP "oneeye" for making that long haul just for that one day. Over the top dedication there!!!

It was definitely a smaller crowd...we sure missed some of you that could not make it. Definitely looking forward to a more "normal" scene next year so all those that needed to hang back can be in attendance next year.

I will close this with sharing my talks with the required police officers we had to have for the event per rules of The Brazos Center. I spoke to them a couple times during the day and they had nothing but nice things to say. (Thank you all for feeding them.) When I talked to them around 5 and told them we would meet our 6 pm deadline of abandoning the area....I was told this was the best event they had ever sat through and that they were very impressed. Heck, one of them played football with the kids.

In the chaos of all that has been going on the last week...I can say being able to pull this off (sans some very important folks we missed) was very well appreciated.

All of you rock!
Love ya, mean it!!!

Thank you, Mary and staff for planning a well organized event!! Last year was my first year back in 9 years and I canít believe I went that long. Bodette looks forward to it just as much as I do. Now she understands the brother and sisterhood that TBH has to offer. Plus she says itís incredible that the ďownerĒ of TBH lives in her home town. Lol
And yes, the security guy was very helpful when I locked my keys in the truck. He called a locksmith, but when he told me that the guy charges $175 to get in, I said thatís ok, Iíll find someone cheaper. Shelbers hooked me up with a tow truck driver that did it for $50.
Had an awesome time and looking so forward to next year.

Had a blast as usual , wouldn’t miss it for anything

After a 10 yr hiatus, it was great to see Frank (KFD82)

I didn’t even recognize him as he lost close to 100 lbs and looks like an albino Ethiopian

Splendid time. My wife hasn't been in 10 years or so. She had a great time. Perfect size venue and crowd.
