So this summer I decided I wanted to give bow hunting a try. I've sat in the blind a few times this season just enjoying being so close to the animals. This morning before good light I hear something running up to my feeder. Had a hog chowing down at about 20 yards and just my luck, it's too dark. Then a second one comes out. Finally it gets light enough to make out a shoulder and when one turns broadside I let er rip. Result: One less pig, my first successful hunt with my bow, and a good end to a fun weekend.
