Just a quick update on the TBH build status. I have copy/pasted the original schedule below with updates.

1. We will start taking orders tomorrow and close the books on Feb 9th at 6:00 PM. Stock and Barrel P.O.’s will be placed at that time with our vendors on a single order to get our pricing break.
- This is the only thing that happened on time! Some components are running behind

2. Short actions are currently in stock. Long, Magnum and Short Mag actions are scheduled to arrive by Feb 15th, so they will be ready in plenty of time.
- Long, Mag and short mags have not arrived at this point. We are being told that short mags will deliver on 5/14/18 and long/Mags will deliver on 5/21/18.

3. Barrels will be scheduled to arrive by March 23rd
- We have been receiving small shipments as they complete and are scheduled to receive a large, possibly final shipment on 5/7/18.

4. Long action stocks should arrive sometime mid-April
- All of these except a few have arrived!

5. Short action stocks will be in late May
- These are tracking on time as well. Should have them all here by 5/25/18

As promised, we will be hammering through these builds as soon as we get the parts in hand. I'd expect to see a flood of TBH builds being posted in the near future I'll keep this thread updated as things progress.

Thanks,
Robert

should have asked this already...special edition serial numbers or no?

after middle of June is good for me. That gives my wife a short vacation to forget about the fishing trip I leave for this week without her before bringing a new rifle into the house

The actions are serialized before we get them, so no control over that.

Likely the case. Pretty sure I saw a bucket of parts with that name on it somewhere.

So what exactly are we talking about here. I just joined the 65 crowd and am curious.

Can't wait to see some real numbers on the 156 Bergers myself.

Thought they only made the 147 in the ELD Match. Didn’t know that they make an ELD-X in the 147. Learn something new every day. I’ll have to look into that.

I went with the creed also because I don’t reload and want something I can shoot without being $50 to $100 a box.

Out of a creedmoor? I'm barely seeing 2800 before I get pressure signs with 4350 or R16.

On the Long Range Hunting forum, the "wizards" on there are getting 3000-3050 fps using RL26 and ELDX bullets Their pressures are over 61K. Would it not be easier to pick another caliber if you want a hot rod?

I KNOW! MikeD gets credit for first mentioning RL-26 and the magic that it does, at least that I've seen.

Easier to buy a different gun than load with a different powder?

Reckon, I aint as smart as some on here. Why would I want to run breech pressure over 61,000 psi and blow out primer pockets to reach 3000+ fps?

They got a 6.5 x 300 Weatherby out now

Yeah, the guys on that link are jokers and that's not what I'm talking about. I'm seeing great results with less powder down in the 2900 range - still significantly better (and more accurate) than I've seen with H4350. Zero pressure signs.

If your getting a top notch custom rifle you just have to reload. I mean, you wouldn’t get a top fuel dragster and run pump gas would ya?

If pump gas was as close to what they run in top fuel as factory ammo is to hand loads now I might think about it. I mainly just don't have a suitable place to produce quality reloads currently. Once I get my own place there will certain be a spot considered for a reloading bench.

Producing your own goodies for one rifle actually takes very little space. And it's worth it when you've got a rig that will show you love with handloads.
