It was a lot of fun. Chris brought a lot of toys for everyone to try out. I met a couple new people along with it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Michael, thanks for the 40, I handed your M855 5.56 to your compadre Casey this AM on our way out...I do hope you get to see them in their fully loaded form, still with bullets, primers & powder!! Casey looked like he hit the lotto...good luck!!
Dave, thanks again for 40...I'll keep making rounds so let me know if you need any more 45. Man, that pork butt you brought into the lobby late last night hit the spot amigo. great pit work!!
Chris, I saw you and the cooler driving off the lot early this AM...hope you get more use from it than I did. Will be talking to you soon amigo.
Big time! Thanks for the 5.56, Paul! Casey was reluctant to hand them over!
I only took a couple of pics. We were too busy shooting and talking about the guns!
Thanks again, Chris, for bringing the guns! It's going to cost me!
Of course, HUGE thanks to Kevin and the A&M Shooting Team for setting up and running the show. I enjoyed watching those guys in action!
Thank you all who were able to attend. It was fun. Of course this was the first year and we wanted to do a few different things, one was to bring some of our factory product for people to handle and to shoot, and secondly (most important) was to have an event that allowed TBH'rs a place to come shoot some guns and have fun. We dont all golf! This event will be had again next year. We will make some improvments. One of which will be more time and space dedicated to simply shooting. A lot of the wives and daughters were intemidated by the big boys trying to shoot for speed and show each other up. It is difficult for my competitive self not to get caught up in that. We will have that fixed for next year. The assistance of the A&M shooting team was wonderful. A big thank you to Kevin and the cadets. Any one that was in attendace please post up any ideas you have in mind. For you guys that missed it, and want to see pics and video.....There wasnt much time for that. We started shooting about 11:30 and finished right at 2 wishing we had more time. We learned a lot and will make this event one that grows. I had a great time.
I shot most of everything he had! I'm no pistol expert by any measure, but have shot more than my fair share, and I would gladly trade any of my favorite pistols for an STI any day! Extremely well built, and smoothest 1911's I've ever shot! I'm sold!
Thanks...I'm curious about the Tactical model & noticed the 3.0 says it has an alloy frame compared to the others.
Just wondering how those who shot it liked how it handled or would they prefer going to the larger 4.0 or 5.0 with the heavier frame.
The 3.0 kinda perked my interest when going through the catalog.
I know ONE daughter that wasn't the least bit intimidated!
I forgot I had a few clips of us shotgunning. Mo stepped right up and shot well. Here is a compilation of clips from my phone.
I'll be sure and make it next year. I'm taking off the day before and after Nanza if I have to work again next year.
