140+ & 5.5???

What are your opinions. I'm getting 143-145 and 5.5. This buck started showing up on the 6th of Nov. He's coming about every 3rd day. None one else has him on camera. I'm a mile from our east boundary and have fellow members 1.5 mi NE and 1.5 mi S of me. No one else has pics of him and on one has ever seen him. We've had cameras running since May.

Wow I was wondering when you were measuring the distance between stands in miles. I use yards lol.

Just a quick guess I would say he's easily 140" but I want to say higher than that I'm not good at scoring from pictures though.

This guy is probably around 175 lbs on the hoof. I think that split 2 on is left side puts him over 140.

I just don't see 5.5.... something about the face... idk ground check him and prove us all wrong

Maybe 5 but I'm leaning toward 4. Either way, I'd let him walk. We don't shoot promising young 5 year olds. It's amazing what they can do in another 2-3 years. And it sounds like where he is, he's pretty safe. Perfect scenario to let a deer walk.
