If I have to leave a cooler in the bed of my truck while hunting is there a reasonable way to secure it?

I use a bike lock and run it through the tie down hole in my truck and attach it to the handle. Not 100% theft prevention, but prevents someone from just walking by and grabbing it.

Simple, sell the truck. And buy a Chrysler Minivan.

I'll be hunting SHNF. I'll try the bike lock. It would be better to buy a larger double cab truck, but it's not in my budget.

they make some cut proof cables which is the direction I would go if under the circumstances...problem is they can still get it if they have the time, tools & ability.

Can't out proof a torch.

The easiest way to prevent something from getting stolen is to not own anything worth stealing. Pull an old cooler from the garbage that you can repair for use when you go hunting. Don't leave a Yeti unattended unless you have it bolted to the bottom of your truck bed.

If you have room put in cab of vehicle with maybe a blanket over it. When I go wade fishing that's what I do.
