            I tried a similar type idea with mesquite limbs zip tied to hogs panels and a pop up inside the panels. Yours looks great!

              These are all old fence posts that the land owner has stacked up from taking down old fences. Most of the posts are cedar. Having the large diameter posts helps tremendously. We have now built 2 of them. The idea of being a cross between a pop-up and a natural brush blind or log blind was the goal. Pop-ups are to dang hot in bow season but are sure nice when its cold and windy. We have a few blinds built into old log piles. Those work great but there is a lot of hesitation about using them due to snakes and such.

                    that looks great, we had the same problems with pop blinds but figured out if you brush them in they don't bother the deer, we had on inside a muskeedine patch, only thing you could see was the shooting holes and man it worked out very well
