I have seen one where the took some fencing and kind of wrapped it around a tree. Hard to explain but if I will try to find the pics and post them.

You put the feed close in the angles of the fence. When the deer come in to eat, the antlers are beginning to loosen up. They end up hitting the fence with the antler and it may fall off and lay right on the ground. Beats the heck out of having them loose them going through the brush or jumping a fence somewhere.

I've used on in the past, a smaller version... had marginal luck - but that's better than no luck at all!
