Nice mix ya got there John. And nice pup too. If ya don't mind me asking, where was the fowl taken? I have often thought about trade-n in my duck deques for some goose deques for the very reson you have there.

It was up in North West Oklahoma. I actually was not goose hunting on that hunt. Last year I was on a two week road trip with my dog hunting various public places from Texas to Kansas for all game and had been on a draw goose hunt at Wa****a NWR the day before. Since I had the goose shells with me, I carried about 5 shells with me on a duck hunt the day after mostly with the intent to use as confidence decoys. I got lucky.
I have about 40 old Canada shells and a dozen Spec shells, but I know of no public places in Texas to effectively use them.
