Whitetail Photo Contest Winner of a Maverick County Buck

Took this pic on a deer lease I am on in Maverick County. This is an intensely managed low fence lease and I was able to snap this pic of a great buck strolling in to check does one December morning. This is my first year to do photography and I used a Nikon D750 with a Tamron 150-600 lens to get this buck coming in at close to 100 yards. The photo won the Cola Blanca best deer photo so I guess it’s beginners luck but I am excited to win!!!
