Hit up big Sam last week and spent the day in Black forest just graphing, found some interesting spots that I have overlooked in the past. What little fishing I did do I had maybe 7 bites and only caught 1 bass and 1 catfish. I believe some of the other bites may have been white bass bumping my plastics. Hope to get out again this coming week.

I picked up the new ditch pickle
chaser on Friday evening from Nautical Mile Marine. I stopped on Athens for her Maiden Voyage. I did a lot more driving around a 2,000rpms (I HATE MOTOR BREAK INS!) than I did fishing. Pulled up on a ledge and the 2nd fish I caught out of my new rig was a 9.1[emoji15]

The kiddos wanted to go for a ride this morning and we couldn’t help but throw a crankbait around a little bit. We caught several and caught them fast. I feel like a guy can stop on just about any point on Rayburn and catch 75-100 right now. Fishing hasn’t been that easy in a long time.
