Oh! In that case, it makes your comments even more profound. Again, what law justifies the actions taken?

Think about that...
That oath means very little, to the greatest majority.
That power trip hits, and game over.
They are also one of the crookedest organizations there is, so there's that.
No one violates the constitutional rights, of the gen pop, on a daily basis, than cops, just doing their job.

Patriot Act got the ball rolling downhill. Folks yelled and screamed like Richard Pryor on fire when it was finally read. Folks demanded that it be repealed once the drama of the 911 attacks had subsided. Now crickets!!! Not just from citizens, but also state & federal legislators......crickets! Citizens have been out flanked and have loss the battlefield. Heck, President Trump could have instant hero status by repealing that one huge over- reaching document. He has never even mentioned it.....and nobody says a word. We continue to bash and thrash each other (and keyboads) every time there is a issue. Sad for sure but it is a bigger matter that is totally being swept under the proverbial rug.

Yes, I guess it is just a nice theoretical exercise to hear LEO's say they would not confiscate guns or execute other non-constitutional orders. For the few that say they would not, there appears to be many that will.

Very hard for me to comment on what actually occurred. They are a licensed premise and guns don't go real good together. Maybe because guns and bar fights do not mix well together. There may be a lot more than advertised in this one. Id like to read the actual search warrant or arrest affidavit.
Although I am a firm believer in gun rights some folks do not have the mentality to be good gun owners.

Per the article, the folks with guns were on private property. Being a good or bad gun owner should not be hard to determine. Not harming innocent folks should qualify one as a good gun owner. Anything other than that qualification is usually agenda or politically motivated.

it is testing to see how much we will take, and how well the rank and file will follow orders.

try to not focus on who they sent, and what they drove. try to not focus on what they wore, or how they look.

focus on the precedent that is now set.

^^^^This

I would like to hear more of LEO's perspective on this case. Were these lawful arrests? Would you do the same if ordered by your superior?

I think the bigger illusion is that we will "defend" our rights.

LWC as said earlier I have not read what occurred. I don't know events led to this. Is there knowledge of weapons on a licensed premise, is the establishment under a nuisance abatement, lots of unknown for me to comment on- kinda hard to comment on something when you get very little of the information. I have not taken the time to pull the probable cause affidavits or search warrant- if you want to pull and post them Ill gladly comment.

Anybody gonna go June 6th? Looks like it might get messy if they try to arrest again. I hope not.
