    Taco Soup

Now that it is cold here is my wife's recipe for taco soup.
    1 pkg pinto beans
    1 - 1 1/2 lbs ground meat
    1 - 2 pkgs taco seasoning
1 pkg hidden valley ranch dressing mix (dry)
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 can whole kernal corn (drained)

Cook beans by themselves as you would make a pot of beans. Best to put these on after the morning hunt and let them cook until the afternoon hunt.
Brown meat and drain off grease. Add meat to cooked beans. Add remaining ingredients and cook for about 30 minutes. Serve with jalapeno or regular cornbread and a tall glass of your favorite beverage.

I am so sick of taco soup it's ridiculous. My wife found it as some recommended diet food. It slowly creeped into our home and made a significant strategic move to replace proper chili before I finally put my foot down and refused to eat it. It took two good batches of chili but, like tilapia, I believe I have successfully banned taco soup from my household.
