Hope all persevered the past week of icy weather without too much hardship.

Let's move on to simulate a 3D-type target.

Draw your own or print my target below with approximately 1.5", 4" and 8" rough circles on a sheet of 8.5x11" paper. Values are: 12, 10, 8 and 5, from center circle outward.

Shoot first 3 arrows of a day from 17 yards, any stance (8 for kids) for best score of a single day. Touching line scores higher value. Up to 4 days' tries; tie-breaker is earliest day's best score.

I haven't shot in over a week. Tween a stomach virus and fixing storm damage I've been out of it. Better get a few shots in before Saturday.

Great shooting GP!

Lots of chainsawing happening here too DRT. More wood for burning next year. If I didnt break up the roof ice dams during the thaw, Id be cleaning up inside too.

Day 1: 10 pts
First shot flier right was way the heck off backstop but chunked the boat dock foam backstops backstop and scattered the chickens. Recovery successful. Then on second shot my target fell forward and broke my arrow. Dang!

Good shooting, GP. Remember, the 8-ring is generally considered the kill zone.

Yeah and you'd think the 12 ring would be a heart shot but it seldom is on 3D animals.

Day 2 (yesterday) : only 10 pts...second shot with my turbulator. First two shots were the two on the top left.
I needed to shoot a group. My straight fletched arrows are gonna get skinned and refletched to left helical. They seem to group significantly left of my aim point.

GP...I get dizzy looking at those hot pink helicals.

They definitely stand out and help me see arrow flight, impact, and locate an arrow in the brush.
