Default Maybe?!

I haven’t had anything close to a mature buck on camera until this last week. This guy showed up finally, and I’m pretty positive it’s a buck that I shot last year and mostly decided this is a ghost deer. His right side front turns up and his right side g2 turns in a bit at the top like last year’s buck. Also, he’s got good brow tines and those are pretty hard to come by in this area.

Last year.

Shot him on Oct 31 last year.

If you look close at his arm pit, you can see the wound. This is from a few days after I shot him.

This buck also turns up on his front and in on his g2 on his right side. And this black and white photo - look at his arm pit. Maybe I can find some more vital tissue this year. Still can’t believe this buck didn’t die last year. I watched him get wobbly legged and bed down at 60 yards and lay his head down, then he just got up and walked out of my life.

That makes two of us. Blew my mind that I didn’t watch him die after he laid down. Then again when he started showing back up at night a week later.

What brand corn feeder is that? Bracing is almost identical to the buc-ee's asf ez feeder but yours stands much taller

It’s a Sendero. They’re the brand that Lowe’s carries. They started making that feeder this year. $399 and a 600lb capacity. Comes with timer.

Thanks, I saw sendero mentioned before but thought they only made the stand and fill with cage at bottom and not with a varmint plate. Nice looking feeder

I don't think it is possible for a deer to survive a shot where you circled. Sure does look like the same deer though. Watching him bed down and get up and walk screams liver shot to me though, and that would be a lethal shot. Interesting for sure and I hope you get him!

Well, That's where I shot him. I watched him in the binos for 20 minutes and saw the entry hole and had liver blood on my arrow. All I can think is that he was quartered to more than I realized and I just clipped liver. I have no idea. Again, I can't believe that he's not hanging in my office already.

I like it so far. They just came out with these feeders a few months ago I think.
