    Heavy 8 Age & Score

Age & score please on this heavy 8 point...
Would you shoot him if he was under your bow stand?
(He was a heavy, narrower true 9 point last year)

I keep going back & forth on whether he is shooter. If he walks under the stand it will be a tough call. Guestimated him at 4 last year (give or take a year). Just expected more out of him this year. He's larger framed & legal now but lost a true point and some of the narliness/twisted mass on that beam.

Anyone have any experience with a buck whos dropped a point before? Did they get it back the next year?

Nothing special about him....maybe cull him as a basic 8 at 4.5?

Looks 4.5 in most of the pictures. But when he ins't bending to eat or facing you he looks more 5.5

                    125 +-

If he tickles your fancy when you see him in bow range then shoot him. I think he is no more than 4.5 at a score of no more than 125. I personally don't think he will become that much bigger. I'd shoot him as a management for sure. Get those genetics out of there.

I had a 9 pt that went to an 8 pt and then went to an 11 pt (typical 10 with a sticker). I've had them go from a g4 on the left side as a 9 pt and the next yr have a g4 on the right side but not the left. Kinda hard to predict.

I think he maybe 4.5 with and not scoring no more than 110. Nothing special. Would be a great kid deer.
