Picked up a Rem 700 AAC-SD 16.5" .308 today from my FFL. Also, my 700 donor action for my custom build arrived today so I guess that is part of a gun. Also have a 700 SPS .204 en route.

Super Blackhawk 44 mag

Got this at the gun show in San Angelo Saturday. Private sale--$425, no NICS, no tax.

Good: Very clean, stamped "Made in the 200th year of American Liberty" on the barrel, 7 1/2" barrel. Bad: ugly oversize wood grips with horrible checkering, sear cut WAY too short--could push hammer off the sear with just a little finger pressure, no rear sight blade.

Being a do-it-yourselfer, I did necessary work to make the sear safe, took the grips and re-worked them to what yo see in the pictures, made my own design rear sight blade out of a washer with peep instead of a notch. Have only shot it offhand, but was impressed with accuracy and relatively mild recoil.
