Prayers for family of fellow 3D'er

Stephan Edward was much like all us 3D'ers. He went to all the local shoots in Northern Georgia. He loved to shoot the ASA Pro/Ams. He loved to smack talk with his buddies. He was very well known and very well liked by all the Georgia archery community. He had shot the ASA Pro/Am in Florida and was excited about going to the ASA Pro/Am in Hattiesburg. Thursday before last, the day before he was leaving for Hattiesburg, he went into the woods behind his house to practice judging yardage. He never returned home.

Stephan's dog Rocky returned home a couple of hours later barking frantically. Search teams from Henry county and Georgia DNR searched for six days. They were concentrating their search around a large lake behind Stephen's house. Some of the search dogs had alerted to an area of the lakes dam. Sadly on Wednesday of last week a diver found Stephan's body about 40 yards off shore on the lake bottom. It is speculated that Stephen slipped and fell down the steep dam into the water. He could not swim.

Stephan leaves behind a wife and two kids. He was 43 years old. His funeral is today in McDonough, Georgia. Keep Stephan and his family in your prayers.
