I’m doing the same. 4” of rain since 10:00 this morning.

Just got my new smoker assembled yesterday. I was afraid to get the poor baby wet today so it is still in the garage. Maybe after a few layers of smoke and grease I'll be OK with a little water dripping on it.
Hoping to get it's new blankie (cover) delivered tomorrow so I can tuck it in at night before heading to bed.
Not sure if I'll read to it first.

Is that the awesome Weber Smoky Mountain I see under the umbrella? I just pulled some ribs and chicken off of mine. Love that smoker!

I did a early rib smoke to try and beat the heat. I would have rather had the rain to deal with.

I have brisket and ribs on now. Have had about 3” of rain since the smoke was started. Still have a light rain, but it is clearing out.

Been walking back and forth to the cooker as I do our ribs--only about 12-13 minutes to go!

Planning steaks here. Needs to quit raining so I can get the grill hot enough. (It's a uncovered & fixed outdoor kitchen)

                          Rain can't stop the smoke
