Default DIY Pest Control

What is a good all around product to use? Something to kill ants, spiders, roaches etc.

I tried demon WP a month ago. One pack in a pump up sprayer. I sprayed the bottom 6" of the brick exterior including a generous squirt in the weep holes plus the garage and entryway floors. We found numerous dead roaches and spiders over the next several days and have seen no insects in the house at all. I plan to spray the soffits and window ledges soon for spiders. It's way cheaper than an exterminator. Here is the Amazon link: https://smile.amazon.com/syngenta-De...words=demon+wp

Another vote for Demon WP. Been using that in our barn and if I ever see a live insect it's near death. An exterminator told me insects build up an immunity to it, but it has been about 5 years with the same results.

I've been using Suspend Polyzone due to their claims of 90 day residual. I haven't seen anything to make me think it last that long. I'll go back to demon when I use this up. I use it on trail cam lock boxes and pop-ups as well, deer don't mind the smell.

I've been using permethrin here lately with awesome results. sprayed the garage that had almost been taken over by spiders, and they are completely gone. I cut it to somewhere between 0.5 and 1%. I also spray my hunting clothes down with it and let it dry. it repels mosquitos, ticks, chiggers, etc. Same stuff they use on mosquito repellant cloths as well as military uniforms. supposed to be good through 6 washings or 60 days!

demon wp is cypermethrin, so they must be in the same family.

Talstar+ and DemonWP on a rotating 6 month schedule.

If you have a big area, I'd suggest a power sprayer.

Yes, I also would like to suggest Demon WP Insecticide to you as the insecticide targets on pests like Ants, Carpenter Ants, Cockroaches, Crickets, Spiders, and many more, one can check the complete list on the label. If the infestation increases and this is also not helping you out, then you can take help of some professionals like Pest Control Fairfield CT, New Haven County CT, Newtown CT, Ridgefield CT, Shelton CT. Professionals would serve you with a permanent solution that would help you get relief from your problems completely.

Sprayed demon wp around the outside of the house a couple of days ago. Now the dang fire ants are in the house. Anyone use demon indoors along the baseboards? I don’t want to take the time to follow all the indoor precautions if I don’t have to. Thoughts?

Stuff like diazinon, permethrin, and cypermethrin will definitely work. This article says these are great for sugar ants, think it would work on any ants as well. I heard also about chlorpyrifos and cyfluthrin, but can't say anything about these.
Haven't seen Demon in my area, but it consists exactly of cypermethrin, so it worth trying

I tried using Demon in the house once, and it left an ugly white residue on my hardwood floors and base boards. The smell was pretty strong too.

Inside and out;
TalstarP Bifenthrin
Always great results. I may rotate to Demon for outside due to the reviews.

Demon WP= Demon Wet Powder, works well . There was a Demon-EC which leaves a clear residue, the name changes on these pesticides often.I had a bottle of this a few years back
it was a great product.

For inside the house I spray "Reclaim IT" insecticide; active ingredient is bifenthrin....
You can spray it in kids' room; once it dries it's totally safe.

Don't get me wrong, Demon is a great product, but I've used it and Bifen and I prefer Bifen I/T. It is an incredible product and I use it every 4 -6 months inside the house and every 2 to 3 months outside the house and I don't have any problems with critters.
