Thinking about next year already. Here are some of my observations on what we could tweak for round 3. Input would be appreciated...

Canopy- Todd
Tables (4)-Todd(2), Bowhica 8'(1), ovalohunter (1) we only ended up with 2 right? I'd say a 3rd is in order
Burners (3)-Bowhica(1), slayer (1), Todd (1, maybe) looks like 2 is all we need
Cookers (3)- agvet2004(2), slayer (1) same thing here, 2 should be good
Cooking utensils-Spatulas, big spoons - Bowhica
Eggs- 15 doz- ovalohunter eggs were the controlling factor this year, but I think we made enough
Bacon-15#- (all)Texastaxi did we really have 15#? Someone dropped off more and we used a couple of packages but not all of it.
Sausage-15#- We had 6# left over so I say we cut this down to 4# (see below)
Cheese- (all) Texastaxi
Salsa-catman
Tortillas- 14 doz- How many doz we have left Mark, we need to cut this back.
Foil Pans- (6)Texastaxi
Foil Sheets- Flufster
Plastic spoons-SAC
Trash Cans- Todd
Trash Bags - Todd
Extinguisher-Todd
Paper Towels- Flufster
Propane tank - Bowhica(2), Todd (2)
Add 6# chorizo

Chad, the bacon that I brought was only like 6 lbs (all that HEB had).
Do we need more than that?

How about the cheese? I brought 3 different kinds but it looks like it'd be OK if it was all the same flavor. How about the quantity? was there enough?

Seems like we had plenty if not too much cheese. I'm all for some chorizo! See, now I'm getting hungry!

You guys did a great job. Among the leftovers was a half-bucket of Salsa. Maybe you guys can make a batch of tacos with the salsa in the mix (just a thought).

Always good to hear that the food was excellent!

Okay so sounds like we ended up with about 7# of bacon (approximating the extra used) and about 9# of sausage, for a total of ~16# of meat. Mixed with 15 doz eggs in 11 doz tortillas. Looks like we were doing about 1 lb of meat per dozen eggs...

I suggest we go 5, 6, 5 sausage, bacon, chorizo and call it a day next year. Mix it with 16 doz eggs and stuff it in 12 doz tortillas.

Cat, that's a good idea. We could put a light dusting of salsa straight in a batch next year and see how it comes out...

trying to figure out how to keep all of them seperate since we had a hard time keeping just the bacon and sausage seperate, now adding some with salsa and some chorizo

guess we could throw in some magic markers and just mark the foil with whats in them...would save us some on foil pans and crap blowing around

So does figuring out the total dynamic head on a 60 Hp pump pushing sewage through an 8-inch pipe (4-inch headworks) 2,581 feet long with 3~90, 7~45, and 2~22.5 degree bends....I could go on... I guess you could say numbers are my thang...

I think a sharpy could definitely solve some problems on keeping everything orginized!!

I'm going to Volunteer for this team next year, we need to think about how to keep them warm, either get some buffet holders with burners, or get an additional ice chest to keep them warm in.

Oh and PVC for the Rolling Table Legs!!!, also a little colder weather would be nice as well, and rainy and windy, I think that combination will make for a much better group!!!

We were mixing about 1 dozen eggs with 1 lb of meat, but given that today is Monday, I don't think that will help you much for the weekend.

LOL Too funny...yeah we used the same numbers for this event that we used for Nanza and everyone was worried that the eggs would run out....When all was said and done, there were about six taquitos left in the tray....It was a pretty easy run after watching all you experts for the last few years...

Bad news is my high school got beat in the State finals....they had a hell of a run tho...
