    FASTER Golf Cart

We have a lifted Club Car Precedent to ride around the neighborhood. Is there any safe way to make this thing faster?

I have read a lot, but seems that most changes to increase speed/torque are stressful on the motor and can cause future issues...hence coming to the gs for some answers.

    Golf cart in question...

He comes through daylight mornings most of the time. Evening last 30 min of light. 2 in the back of the property are only coming through once a week but have been together recently.

[emoji33]....let me figure out a weekend soon! I swear we have something every weekend, but I can probably swing a quick trip up there soon.

Easiest route would prolly be a high speed motor. Around $500

You could bolt some smaller diameter wheels and tires on her.
Maybe you could lose a few pounds?

Doesn’t a controller only increase amperage, which only increases torque, not speed. For increased speed, you need more voltage. Which includes another battery, or another motor.

I had stock motor and normal battery configuration but an upgraded controller and my cart would fly. Also had more torque to climb a wall.
