Trade a book update.
I want to thank Duckn and Chunky for loaning me some books to read. I had a major break through tonight while shooting. I warm up at 1 yard and then step back to five, ten, and fifteen yards. I pick a spot while raising my bow, drawing to my anchor spot and then let go! Waam! Right were I was looking. Sweet! I shoot again and I am a little to the right, but still on target. Again and again I am close to my spot.
Today was the best practice session I have ever had.
What I learned today:
1. Keep my bow arm from dropping
2. Allow my bow arm to come up to where I want my arrow to go
3. Continue drawing even after the arrow is gone.
4. That I really like shooting my recurve even more
