    Good Reads

For Christmas my daughter gave me copy of "Hunting The Hard Way" by Howard Hill, first published in 1953, and a copy of "Hunting With The Bow And Arrow" by Saxton Pope first published in 1923. They go with my copy of "The Witchery of Archery" by Maurice Thompson first published in 1878. It is fascinating to see how much has changed, and how much has stayed the same in bowhunting.

Let me look Bisch, I think I still have them both. If I do I'll send them to you to read.

I’ve read all of the archery classics.

The one I hear less about and enjoy more than anything that Hill wrote is Sagittarius by Bob Swinehart, Howard Hill’s protégé.
