Default After 17 years got my old camaro back

Had this 92 Heritage camaro z28 for about a year in 2001 to 2002 and sold it. Kicked myself ever since. Sold it with 48k miles back then.

Back track to this past holiday season and wife got a call from a new owner who brought it off Corvette Specialist of Beaumont in January 2017.

5th owner said he was coming to a car show in Austin this past March. Wife and I went and saw car and almost cried. We invited owner and son to dinner at our house that evening. They came and all had a good time.

Of course before they left I pulled Luke over and asked the question. "If u ever sell it, can I get 1st dibs?"

He said I rather sell it to u. And he said he would contact me when they were ready to sell as his wife wants a Corvette and it would be a year or two. I said fine.

Fast forward to June 20th of this year and Luke texted me he is ready to sell. We agree and price and he gives me a few months to come up with cash.

I sell a good chunk of my old Colt collection.

Well this past Monday, my dad ( who was in town visiting) and son make trip to Beaumont.

Car now has 59k miles and all records of receipts along with many extra NOS parts.

More pics to come later this weekend

Detailing body this weekend.

Camaro is happy to be back in Pflugerville.

Pretty cool story, awesome it came back around with only 11k more miles after 17 years.

Hopefully one day you can be lucky enough to get back those colt’s you sold off!

That's cool. I like a good car story like that. I have a 68 Impala that I've owned for 3 years and the guy that did the frame off restoration called me a month ago and said he wants to buy it back. I'm ok with selling so we are making arrangements.

Sweet car!! I also have a 92 camaro, but it's the RS with the 305 in it. It's a 5 speed convertible and it's fun as hell to drive!

The 92 Camaro was the 25th Anniversary year, so it's more sought after to some extent.

If you older fellers remember, There was a Camaro series called, "Berlinetta", I owned one. My intentions were to keep it forever, but some person pulled out in front of me....that was the end of that.

SHINEY black, gold pin stripes, luxurious interior. Yeah, I liked it and I think it might have been kinda rare, you never see one these days...1984 model I think.

OP, nice car, try not to sale it again.

History of the car. I got a long letter from the original owner of my 67 charger and she wrote down stories of the car. (Her uncle scratching the drivers side door against a tree, their old German Shepard tearing up the upholstery while in charger, watching car drive off as she sold it in lat 70's.

It all history from the people who owned these cars.

Learn more about the car.
Previous owners can also provide written statements to back up claims when there is no paperwork. They may also have original parts, paperwork and/or pictures

As an example. If you have a nice '70 Chevelle SS LS6 4speed car with no paperwork and a service replacement block it might be worth 125k.

The same car might be worth 150k+ if the original owners has some paperwork, or some pics from 1970 showing it as an LS6 or some docs showing where the warranty replacement block went it.

You can also get some good stories. We hear cool stories all the time over on the Yenko Supercar forum.
