1.2" in Atascosa county. Checked the front pond the day before. It was so low the fish had died. Most were 6 - 8" catfish. Sad we got some rain but not enough or soon enough to save them.

It would take a tremendous amount more than what we've had. But it sure would be nice to see Choke Canyon full again.

Just got back from Freer on Tuesday, and it was very green. We drove around in the evening and saw 30 or so bucks. They all looked fat and happy. They are still hitting the cotton seed but slowed down on the protein.

Just got back from Bruni/Realitos area. Every pond is dry. No grass type vegetation is growing. We made a temporary water station. Will be back in July to install 3 more so we won't have to worry about this anymore. Total of 3" this year sucks.

That sucks. I feel our place has been pretty fortunate this year. As soon as it starts to dry, we get a good rain. Not a large rain total but very timely rains for our pastures.

Same situation we're in across the river this year. I think we have had around 3.5 inches this year that's it.

I was about 2 total for the year until May 3rd when a rogue cell parked on top of me and dumped 5 in 2 hours

I lost a huge willow tree on the house lake and had to fix a lot of roads but Ill take it!!!

It’s super dry in Kennedy co but rain in forecast from tomorrow through next week. We need to get something out of all this just hope it holds off till Monday. Dry weather makes for great nilgai hunting. Water holes down here look like Africa right now. Target rich!!!

Has to rain in the Frio watershed for this to happen, which is much further north and west from where it has been raining.
