Thanks!

We have a bunch of 10' x 40" goat panels we'd sell, if anybody needs some. We have 50 of them. I just bought half of them last week at Simon Brothers in Roosevelt and paid $45 each. I'd take $40 each. We also have 4 panels that are 16' long and 36" tall that we'd sell for the same price. Located exactly halfway between Sonora and Junction about 3 miles south of I-10 on SCR 314. I'd just as soon not have to haul them home.

Are these the kind that pin together like a corral panel? Got a picture?

That really sucks rotten eggs Shane!!!! The one reality about all leases is that they will all come to an end someday, and most times, not at a convenient time for the leasees! I sure hope yall can find a new, even better place soon!

We did get a little over 1 rain last night at my place, 3 miles east of Sonora.

Yes sir. No driving t-posts into rock required. Just hook them together and walk away. They're awesome.

25 of the 10' panels are spoken for. Still have 25 more plus the 4 panels that are 16' long.

I need those panels but won’t make it that way for a month or so. If this was last weekend I would have been all over those.

I'll be there either that weekend or the weekend before. Waiting to nail it down with the guy that is buying the first 25 panels. Maybe if two groups' timing won't allow them to be there on the same weekend, one group could pick up all of them and then the 2nd group could pick up theirs from the first buyer?? Kinda like a TBH Express local pickup?

No, I just don't want to have to haul all the panels if I can help it. It would require a 2nd trip to get everything else and all the panels too.

I don't know, man. After my luck with the last two landowners I've leased from, I'm about ready to sell all my guns and bows and just stick to golf and fishing.

I wish you could sign a lease like a house instead of year by year. Have like a 5 year contract that way on that last year you can ask the land owner what his plans are..

The impasse was actually only a minor issue that could have been worked out easily. The landowner's reaction, though, was nothing short of insane. It's been par for the course, so we are just walking.

I think I had a lease a long time ago that was owned by that guy (or one of his relatives) once! We busted our butts to do extra stuff for him, and he would rant over little minor stuff. This went on and on till we finally got off!

The hunting is great, so we've been willing to put up with a lot of weirdness. But when it gets to the truly crazy point, I'm out. Hunting is supposed to be fun.

Looks like the sale of these 25 panels isn't gonna work out, due to scheduling. I will be at the place on the morning of Saturday, May 19th. I'd like to sell 25 of these panels. $40 each ($1,000) Anybody need some?

Tempting! I would really like to have them. The hogs are really tearing my panels up trying to get to my feeders.

We loaded up all our stuff and moved off of our Sutton County place Saturday. Moved to a place outside Fredericksburg. Beautiful place. Gonna miss Sutton County. Not gonna miss the landowner at all though.

I know it! Lots of good folks hunting that area. Our new place is AWESOME, and the landowner seems to be a super nice fella. I sure hope to stay for a long time. But if/when I'm looking to move, I'll be searching Sutton County again for sure.

Thanks everyone. We are out here for the weekend. Saw a bunch of deer this morning but no shooters. This weekend is all about the girls having fun.

Really green out here. Im sitting on the porch watching a couple jakes eating now at the hangover feeder.

Got the pool a filling for the girls.

Got here and realized I forgot the pump at home. See Drinking wine is good

Tomorrow we will load up the kayaks and head to the South Llano to cool off.

Made a flying feed trip to the lease on a 36 hour turnaround. From Lumberton at that. Yeah, Im dog tired. Luckily we dodged the storm that rolled through yesterday afternoon/evening. We got 1.50 of rain out of it per FarmLogs app. Locals said it rained Saturday as well but not sure how much. Standing water in many places and things have greened up well. Deer we saw were healthy and looked good.

Hopefully more fun than work! A good pool is always a bonus on summer work weekends! I been wanting to clean one up at our ranch for that reason but my old landlord may not appreciate us swimming in it lol !
