Default Here at the range . . .

Summer camp with the scouts. Hanging out and helping at the archery range.
They use a different method to string and unstring bows than most of us . . .

Awesome. That right there is what started my love for flinging arrows - BSA summer camp when I was 12 or 13.

With all the hate understandably being slung at BSA over recent decisions, being here and seeing these youth doing things they could not get the opportunity to do outside of scouting makes me glad the program is still alive and well.

That is a great method to string a recurve! I know a very good bowyer who has that setup in his bow shop!

The funny thing is she starts them shooting split finger. But I find myself switching many of them to three under and adjusting the crawl to get their elevation correct. Most of them are able to qualify this way.

G.W. Flannigan has on that plugs into the receiver hitch on his truck, I've seen him use it several times and thought it was a heck of an idea for a traveling bowyer.
