Default My new pop up

Bought a new pop up from Cabelas this year with floor flaps. Built a wood platform 6'x6' about 1' off the ground. Used 1x2 boards to attach flaps to the platform. Very sturdy and I don't have to worry about it blowing away.

Nice! We did one similar but 10 feet off the ground. Same concept.

I like the idea. Also interested to know if you take it down each year or leave it up in place

Nice.

Only thing I would have done differently was to tuck the flaps underneath and tack them down from the inside. You will rot out our flaps much faster in your current configuration... (water will build up between fabric and the cleat.)

What stakes you use to keep it from falling?

Looks pretty glued to the ground!

Left it up all year. Just checked it out last week and it is holding up great. I did spray it with water proofing and sun protection spray.
