Age

I thought this deer was 3.5 last year, he put on some mass but that's about it this year. Opinions on his age?

Pics were from the peak of the rut, so he's a little run down.

Maybe that's why he doesn't look filled out. Looks mature, just no belly or sway in his back. not much of a brisket either.

Bell county...that deer is mature. Big head on that sucker and look at the staining. I bet he is older than you think with that kind of mass too. My best guess is 5-6. They've lost a lot of weight from running.

I think he is really old. His body looks like the 11.5 year old I shot last year.
