    Limbsavers

I don't mean to stir the pot here.
In all serousness, what do you think about them?
I have some on my older recurve, and they do their job.
    Anyone else use them?

Have them on every bow I own (and that's a lot of bows). They do their job very well.

        What is a limb saver?

          • Sets a new standard of perfromance with reducing vibration and noise • Engineered to function within a specific broadband frequency 20Hz-20,000 Hz • The combination of a NAVCOM ring and center dampener produce the broadest frequency reponse of any limb dampener ever produced • Sold in pairs

I have a set on my compound, but not on my recurves.. Never really thought about that before. Any pics of the way you put the limb savers on your limbs?

I've sen lots of guys use them. A lot of Black widow shooters use them. No pot to stir. If they work for you, then by all means, use them!

Not for my longbows but I put Bowjax limb dampeners on my recurve just to test them out. I stuck them on right at the fade outs and have been very impressed. That bow was already pretty quiet but it is now just a dull thump.

Still haven't tried it yet on my BW. I know it sounds dumb, but I don't like the way it looks. I know, a dumb reason.

Like I said. I have them on my older recurve.
I was double thinking it on getting some for my newer one.
I guess I can give it a go. There's nothing to lose.

Not dumb. That's legit. They just make my recurves so much more pleasant (and quiet) to shoot that I'm willing to overlook how they look.

Drybones, you put them on the inside (facing the archer) of the limb, about 3-4" from the riser (where the limb wedge or fade-out ends).

I see lots of folks put them in the wrong places though.

They help. I don't know if their string leeches work because they don't last long enough to tell.
