Got gas this morning and hand calculated my mileage. Truck went from 17mpg to 15mpg. No change in driving habits or miles driven and my a/c don't work so can't blame that. Does it every time.

Mine did the same mileage/performance from my '89 GMC with 273k on the gas engine. And my AC has been out of commission since 2008 at the very least. Maybe 2006? And know your truck is just a few years newer.Comment

Our bug honkin' Sequoia went from 15 to 13ish. I don't know if they put summer blend in the diesel fuel or not but if they do I'm going to get my motor oil filtration kit set up and start running that in my 7.3 instead of pump fuel.Comment

Shouldn't be seeing any summer blends yet, the reiferies are starting blending next week. Probably be about 2 more weeks or so.Comment

You’ll know when the shut down/retool starts because the temporary production loss (lower supply) will result in immediately higher prices.
Summer blend has slightly more stored energy, so a decrease in fuel mileage is not due to the fuel.
