Clear-cut edges

I have a clear cut and my food plot runs east to west . We have a south southeast wind today but when I get here the wind is blowing out of the west. Can anyone please explain this to me. Love Pat

Wind forecasts are often wrong. When you puff smoke out of a bottle, you can believe what you see at that location and immediately surrounding you. If you have terrain changes it won't be reliable always.
