    Traditional FSC Week 13

This weeks challenge will be 1 shot a day for 7 days.

If you don't get to shoot for a day or two, just make those shots up
on the days that you get to shoot, but try your best to do them one shot a day with a maximum of 7 shots total.

Roll a standard piece of printer paper up length wise, and tight on your arrow. Tape it so the roll stays together, then remove the arrow from it.

Use another piece of standard printer paper, or use a piece of cardboard cut
the same size, and place a hole the size of the paper tube in the middle of it.
I suggest using the cardboard for stability, and durability.

Mount the paper tube securely in the hole of the flat paper.
I flared out the hole, and flared the back end of the tube to
give me something to tape to.

Place the tube target on your target butt, and take your shots from 10 yards
    6 yards for the kiddos.

You are trying to Robbin Hood the tube. To qualify as a Robbin Hood,
you arrow must get at least 1" of penetration into the tube.

If the tube splits out don't worry. That will count.

Measure your tube misses from edge of shaft to edge of tube,
and keep a running total of those measurements.
If you get a Robbin Hood, that's it, your done, and that shot measures as a 0 (zero).

Shots off the paper will be an automatic +10"

    Lowest total measurement wins.

Good Luck, and HAVE FUN !!!!!!!!

Interesting challenge. May want to angle the target so you are shooting as straight into it as possible.

Yep, part of it is to see how well you can line things up for the shot.
It'll also tell you how well your arrow are flying.

I shot it yesterday just to see how well it would work.
I just stuck the tube into my broadhead target.
When I hit it, it buried the tube into the target, and I got about 5" of clean penetration before the tube broke off.

This thing is easy to build. So easy a caveman can do it, which is right up most of you guys ally.

Rednecks and cavemen may smell similar but rednecks definitely have the upper hand in "creativity".

I think we're all related in those regards.

3-3/4". That's pretty bad. Haven't shot ten in a while. At least I hit the paper!

                      Great shot, Rick!

You've got me wondering whether I should use my wood arrows that are slightly thicker -- thus presenting a bigger target opening to hit OR the thinner carbons. Carbons probably recover quicker from Archer's Paradox a round the riser. Ten yards doesn't give much recovery time.
Hmmmmm... Guess I'll sleep on it.

I'll start mine tomorrow too. Cool challenge!! I shot one Robin Hood right after I got my Widow. I wish I could say it was a re-occurring problem.

You may want to take another look at your measurement; appears to be about 3-1/8". Measure nearest part of shaft to nearest part of paper roll, I believe. Correct, Rick?

I've noticed some of y'all measure that way but that's not how a group is measured with bullets so why here?
