Spent this past weekend taking a 13 year old on his first hunting trip. Spent the night in the camphouse, the boys spent the day playing baseball and throwing football in the hay field, and then he was able to score on his first ever kill by connecting on a nice sow at about 75 yards.
We spent a day with him this past spring teaching him how to shoot a bolt action rifle.
This kid has never experienced anything hunting at all and I thanked God when the hogs walked out and he was able to connect. He's totally addicted and was on Cloud 9.
