Could be a mere coincidence it was on the ground right there too.

I did a reverse google image and this is the closest I could find...

Maybe she had it in her mouth and it was a coincidence that it shot out when she sneezed?

Possible but then why was it just lying on the driveway? She could have gotten it in her mouth and spit it out when she sneezed but that just seems odd.

I was thinking Cuterebra (warbles) but emergence at the pupal stage doesn't make sense as they are supposed to emerge as larva and pictures of the pupa of cuterebra look very different.

Pupa stage of a moth. Not sure what kind. They are often found in soil.

            That is my best guess

This is what I was thinking. See several in the yard under the leaves when I take this time if year. Looks similar anyway.

I excised the picture and sent it to the veterinary lab (my buddy who is a vet). We'll see what his opinion might be.

Pretty unlikely that came out of your dog.

Nasty. I guess if by some chance that did come from the dog, I bet she feels much better now.

This is the moment a vet removes a botfly larva from the nostril of an eight-week-old kitten in North Carolina after the cat's owner noticed a 'chronic nasal discharge'.
