knapping rock needed

I put this on the traditional forum with over 300 views and no help so here goes. Wife and I are near 46 and 281 for 3 more weeks. I am looking to gather some rock for knapping, maybe a 5 gallon bucket or so. I have checked the Guadalupe and Pedernales but those spots have been picked over pretty good. Anyone know where I can stop and gather some rock for knapping? ANY help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jon

My brother lives in Hobbs and picks up a lot of rocks for knapping from our place near Dell City. Next time I'm out that way I'll try and give you a heads up and maybe you can come pick some up. Probably won't be 'till after Easter. Text me your number.
