Well. Coming home empty handed. No show for me. Sherry had a monster 8 at her stand. When she got the green light too shoot. It had already walked away. Now we just have too come back next weekend.

Well gents I got a doe when heading to Scot's stand this afternoon. 88 hours this week, but still had to try and get out there. I like this new bow, passed through her and kept going. Now just got to find time and hunt some more. Have a muzzleloader draw hunt in Okla this weekend. Will go up thursday nite and setup stands on Friday, then the hunt starts on Sat morning. There are 170 class there so am excited and first real coldfront due in on Sat morning.

I harvested this buck saturday morning in grapeland around 7:30. He made was following a doe that was fixing to go in heat then stopped at 45 yard by a protein feed. He was quartering towards me when I shot him it cut the top of his lungs and blew through his heart
