We just left the great metropolis of Votaw! Fargus, Panhandlehunter, and myself are in the truck and headed East

Heads Up / something y'all may want to consider ....

when traveling through Lafayette, take Hwy 90 East and roll through New Iberia, Morgan City, and Houma as 90 keeps you on the West Bank of the MS River. When you get to Gretna, take a right at Terry Pkwy and 23 South, then head to Venice.

I-10 on the Basin bridge can be a hit or miss with accidents and 18 wheelers ... there is no way to get off the bridge. Additionally, I-10 traffic from Grosse Tete (exit 139) through Port Allen and Baton Rouge often times sucks. Pretty sure the I-10 MS River Bridge Eastbound in BR is confined to 1 lane (center lane) as the L and R lane are closed for construction

when you get to Lafayette , do NOT go I-10 East to Baton Rouge.... traffic will be insane. Go Hwy 90 East like you're headed to Morgan City, Houma, etc....
