looks like it could be the same thing I have in a hay meadow. Was told by local herbiced/fertilizer outfit that it is a “cousin”of Dallis grass.

Now that I look back at your pictures, the seed head doesn’t fork out the same as what I have and dallis grass. Unless your pics are before it would have happened

            Maybe it’s a second cousin...

Sure it’s not behia grass ? Seed head kinda looks like it. If you had better pics of the roots.....

Try MSMA, that might kill it and won’t hurt bermuda. Also, a weak gly solution won’t kill established bermuda. Bermuda is pretty dang tough.

I looked at it again, it doesn’t appear to be behia.

Pastora or MSMA with a good sticker

It will laugh at pastora. Don’t waste your money super expensive. I read MSMA will work But not until later when it is preparing for dormancy. I haven’t tried that yet.
I tried GLY immediately after first frost last year when Bermuda went dormant while this stuff was still green. It helped a little.

                    Weed ID in pasture

Msma was used in last spray of grazon p+d

I think my only solution is GLY. Just need to decide how much per acre.

Takes a lot of that to kill Bermuda

Probably something that was brought over from the border

The first thing is to find out exactly what it is, then find a herbicide that will kill it and not harm the bermuda. There’s an app called Pl@ntNet that has worked for me a few times. Take a pic of the plant and it gives you the ID. Maybe

Bahia , you need Ally. MSMA won’t hurt it. If you really dislike a man sprinkle some Bahaia seeds in his ditch.

You might check the plateau label. It’s a good grass herbicide. Also, MSMA is not labeled for anything to graze on it. The A is arsenate. No one wants that in the food supply.

It looks like Bahia to me. I hate that stuff.
