My Hoyt maxxis was over pulled today I suppose you could say. The string flipped over the draw stopper and had to be rushed to a press before I guess it would have exploded ? Has anyone ever seen this happen or had it happen to them on their hoyts? Has anyone replaced their draw stop and could tell where they got it? Thanks

I have seen some bowtechs do that when the draw stop was in the wrong spot. It would not explode, it was locked up by the cables. If you had tried to fix it without a press, then it would have probably get bad. Make sure you have the draw stop in the correct location so the cams don't over rotate. Might take it to a shop and make sure they are the right draw stops also. Aren't the draw stops part of the DL modules? -
It was done at a shop. I mean it's the factory stop in the right place but I didn't know if they make bigger ones or better ones or whatever.Comment
